Every year we opens our arms to all in need for the holidays and are dedicated to bringing happiness and joy to children during the holiday season. We are excited to announce our annual gift drive, Toys for Joy, and we are reaching out to local businesses like yours for support.

As you may be aware, in  2022 & 2023 , the Toys for Tots program in Kent County, Delaware, unfortunately, could not take place due to unforeseen circumstances. However, this setback did not deter us from our mission to ensure that every child in our community experiences the joy of receiving a gift during the holiday season. In 2022, the Choose Joy Foundation stepped in to help, and we were able to provide to 613 children in need. In 2023 we helped 396 plus our fire families with gifts 

This year, we have set an ambitious goal to triple that number, reaching out to over 1,800 children in Kent County. While this goal may seem challenging, we firmly believe that with the support of local businesses like yours, we can make it happen. We understand that local businesses play a vital role in our community, and your contribution to this effort would have a significant impact on the lives of these children and their families.

Here are a few ways in which your business can support our Toys for Joy annual gift drive:

• Toy Donations: Your business can donate new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to children in need. We will ensure that these toys find their way to deserving children in our community.
• Monetary Donations: Financial contributions from your business will help us purchase toys and other essentials for children who may not receive gifts otherwise.
• Volunteer Support: Your employees can volunteer their time to assist with gift wrapping, sorting, or distribution. This hands-on involvement can create a meaningful connection between your business and the community.
• Promotion and Awareness: Help us spread the word about our gift drive. Sharing information about our initiative on your social media platforms or in-store can encourage others to get involved. 
• Putting out a collection box: Setting up a box to collect gifts and toys can be a wonderful way to gather donations
